Ritual Candle
A question for Wiccans only, how to burn candles?
I'm new to candle magick and was wondering what are the necessary steps I must take in order to ensure that I get my wish and that my casting is successful? Also, do I need to burn the candle out completely when casting spells or not? I've seen ritual candles that last for 2.5 hours do I need to focus on my wish for the whole 2.5 hours? Please explain how this process works. Thank you and Brightest Blessing to all of you!
Anointing a Candle
The first consists of starting at the middle of the candle and anointing it to the top, and then going back to the middle you would anoint down toward the bottom.
The principle behind this is that you are the center of the candle, sending your energy both upward into the spiritual planes and downward into the physical.
The second method is to start at the top of the candle and draw an unbroken line down the side, under the base, and back up the other side, when you reach the top of the candle, you turn it ¼ turn and trace another unbroken line in the previous manner. So that the candle is ‘tied’ to your purpose.
As you anoint your candle Charge it with your purpose. Then sit it in the holder and cast your circle as normal and say whatever you wish to the powers that be and then light the candle.
Now on the topic of letting it burn out or not that is up to the candle. and wither or not you are doing a ritual and want to burn the candle over a few days. If you want to just do a one day spell then yes let the candle burn out unless the candle flame goes out by itself. then you should never relight it. If you are doing a ritual then you would let the candle burn for a predetermined amount of time and then put it out with a snuffer and then relight it the next day for the same amount of time until the ritual is done.
What kind of ritual uses writing on a naked human body, candles and chanting?
I was forced to participate in such a ritual and I'm wondering what it may of been for. It was very scary since I didn't know what was happening. But an image of an angry old woman suddenly came into my mind. I was so scared I screamed really loudly. The men writing on me held me down though and I wanted out of that room since I was uncomfortable and very scared. Please help me out since I am nervous that it may occur again.
Not only is this physical, sexual, and psychological abuse by whomever forced it upon you, but it is also dabbling with the occult as well. First, you need to report whomever did this to the local authorities. They sound like some sort of mind control cult, and need to be brought to justice. Secondly, you need to get professional help ASAP!!! See a good bible-believing minister, who is not manipulative, and doesn't misuse his authority for personal gain, just as Paul prophesied many would do in the last days (2 Timothy 3) My prayers will be with you.
