Rose Quartz Crystal

Have you ever tried a crystal stone like Rose Quartz or Amethyst or others for an ailment? did it work?

Thanks all, food for thought and good answers, i know for a fact that alternative therapies are starting to gain momentum as some spiritual healers are now working in various surgeries and hospitals (small numbers)

Interesting that the bigger the crystal the more it can have effect (i need one bigger than my house he he)

I won't judge Dr Frank as he is a more mature man of science and maybe inflexible with alternative ideas,

I hope the future brings more modern thinking docs and what i term combination therapy, science and alternative therapies working hand in hand.

i think that there are still things on this earth that we humans do not understand - therefore i like to keep an open mind, and i don't think it's mumbo-jumbo, or me being naive. there is more to health care than all the synthetically made pills and potions that some doctors seem so eager to hand out. as u know Dave, i've suffered from depression on and off for the past 6 years. sadly, a lot of doctors have a very cynical attitude to mental health problems, and rather than encouraging their patients to explore ways of helping themselves, etc, they send them off with a prescription for anti depressants, and that's the entire extent of their care. anti depressants themselves do not solve anxiety / depression problems - therefore if conventional doctors are either unwilling or unable to provide more than just pills, they should consider having a more positive attitude when their patients seek out alternative medicines and therapies. afterall, they're just trying to help themselves.

i have seen 5 different doctors about the problems i have with my nerves... only one of those doctors treated me as an individual person, and did his best to help. the others were mainly interested in seeing how quickly they could print out a prescription. doctors sometimes seem to forget that we are people - not statistics.

basically - at best, alternative therapy & medicines may make u feel better, or at least more positive about things. at worst, u will have spent a couple of quid on a pretty rock.
