Witch Pagan
Pagans, Witches: do you ever get snickered at when you tell people you are a pagan or a Witch?
I live in the Bay Area and I am surprised when I get any weird looks or disaproval when I tell someone I am a pagan or when I tell them I'm a witch. I was wondering how much of that sort of treatment you all get in your neck of the woods.
I'm always very careful about whom I tell but, say their significant other, yeah I get some of that. "just ride your broom to Wal-Mart" or "dancing under the moon naked' references. I just try to laugh it off 'cause I'm sure most of it is meant in jest, there are a few comments that just aren't funny and it depends on the situation and surroundings,as to just what I do or don't say. I'm in central Kentucky, by the way.
